Making off

Julie: «a movie is carried by its director but also, most importantly, by its team. Narcose was born thanks to the voluntary work of filming professionals who believed in the project, and in the donations made by Internet users through the ULULE crowd funding platform.

The shooting began at the beginning of October 2011 with the wedding scene, which was the most difficult. Four months later, the scene where I am pregnant was shot, 10 days before the birth of our daughter. The rest was filmed in Nice, the first week of August 2012. The movie was finished 6 months later, by the time the editing, colour grading, special effects, original music, sound effects and mix were completed».

Guillaume: «I will always remember the scene where I’m running in my jeans as the most difficult shooting of my entire career. To dive bare-chested into cold water, weighed down with 6 kilos, with no air in my lungs, waiting for the cameraman’s signal before starting to run, resisting the unbearable desire to breathe, letting myself drop along the submarine cliff down to 18 meters, out of breath and waiting for the safety divers to bring me back up to the surface…I can assure you that it was harder than a 125m dive!»
