The search for Atlantis, the sunken city, is one of men’s oldest myths. More than exploring a shipwreck, the biggest of the Mediterranean and second largest in the world, this film uses the surreal background of the Haven shipwreck to stage 3 freediving world champions Guillaume Néry, Morgan Bourc’His and Rémy Dubern taking this ghost town by storm. After a general survey of the place with their underwater scooters, they finally touch down: Rémy glides along a wall scattered with windows, Morgan finds his way through a labyrinth of corridors and dark stairwells, Guillaume jumps from terrace to terrace, all of it between 40m and 50m deep. Despite the action, Haven is a contemplative movie with a soft rhythm, lulled by a spellbinding music.
